No, they're harmful spam bots. The own "bots" are clearly labeled as Google, Yahoo, Bing, Alexa, etc. We're talking about bots that sign up as PENISGROWTH.NET and the like.

The human verification question won't help much if the CAPTCHA has been cracked (which it has). Also, the question was bypassed before, changing won't be a long term solution.
