Favorite anime Genre?

Whether it's the laugh out loud comedy to the adrenaline rush of action, what is your favorite genre and why?

I like comedies for I love to laugh (who doesn't?) at all sorts of topics whether it is a parody of other anime or simple random stuff like red bean paste bread.

mecha (thats mostly gundam though) and shonen and generally anything with good action scenes.

Comedy and Ecchi are a blend of win. Can't really have one without the other. Cyberpunk and drama are also nice.
