“Trying is better than NOTHING!” she said, exasperated. Zach was becoming rather pessimistic, not even trying to save his cousin. Of course, Aisa felt sympathetic, but still, not even trying is like sentencing Reks to his absolute death. Even if it wouldn't work, trying would be better than nothing, at least from how Aisa saw it. But, there was no way that she could lift Reks and carry him to the ward by herself.
“No... There is 'something' I can do...” Zach whispered angerly, ignoring Jason's warning, grabbing a rifle and firing at Falî's head. Jason immediately knew what Zach was going to do, and immediately reacted. He ran towards Zach just in time to knock the barrel away, saving Falî from her death. “What was that for?!” Zach demanded, extremely infuriated by what had happened. He lunged at Jason, and the two were locked in battle before Zach yelled and dropped to the ground, aggravated tears falling down.
Aisa sighed, feeling a bit helpless herself. She hadn't been able to do anything at all, and really, what could she do? “Once on a green and shiny mor-- Oh!” a girl said, looking shocked, and running over towards where the group was. She knelt down by Reks and mumbled something that Aisa hadn't been paying much attention to, because she had been paying more attention to what the girl was doing. The girl had begun to, what seemed like, to heal Reks. After a few moments passed, the wounds that Reks had incurred were gone. And a bit later, Reks had regained consciousness.
“Thank the stars...” Zach said, seeming quite grateful that his cousin was alright. Everyone in the group was happy to see that Reks was ok. “What happened? And how long have I been asleep?” Reks asked almost immediately after waking up. “Simply put---” Jason said, beginning to answer Reks' questions. Aisa was just as glad that Reks was healed as much as everyone else, but her attention was on a machine that was slowly making its way towards them. “You've got to be kidding me!” Aisa said, astonished, at the same time that Jason noticed the machine. “Everybody! Run!” he shouted. Aisa looked over towards Reks and Zach, wondering if what she thought was what was actually happening, and their faces confirmed it. “And so the Captain finally arrives...” she said to herself, shaking her head in disbelief at the current situation.
