Wolf Mountain RP

"I think we've traveled far enough, let's rest" a girl announced. To most people seeing this, all they'd see is a girl talking to herself. But she wasn't, she was speaking to two ghosts that had befriended her at the orphanage. Ayame smiled and sat down on a fallen tree. Wolf Mountain was exactly as Ethan had said, it was beautiful; breathtaking. Greenery and tall pine trees stretched as far as the eye could see. Under the canopy, only a few rays of light filtered down, giving the place a rather green and mysterious feeling.

Ayame grabbed her knapsack and took out an apple to munch on. "So what now what?" she asked Ethan, the ghost boy that had directed her here. He shrugged, not saying anything. The girl next to him poked his ribs, engaging Ethan in an animated conversation. Ayame just sat, eating her apple, watching them. She wasn't sure exactly what they were talking about because they were being extra careful not to let Ayame hear anything. Lacy kept pointing up the mountain while Ethan shook his head, occasionally he pointed towards Ayame. But eventually, Ethan conceded and Lacy had won, "We're going to go up the summit. It's beautiful up there! You have to see it, Ayame! You just have to! Ethan doesn't want to go because he's afraid that you're tired. But your not, right?" Lacy asked, her voice resonating through the forest. Ayame loved talking to ghosts, especially when they spoke back instead of sending thoughts to her mind. It was amazing, their voices didn't seem to be connected with themselves, but seemed to come out of thin air. Their voices were soft and it seemed to be carried with the wind. It was kind of saddening that she couldn't share this with anyone, no one else could see the ghosts.

"Let's go then," said Ayame. She gathered her things and continued up the mountain.

He smiled at her. Please follow me. He said as he entered the cave. The entrance lead to an underground city. There were some buildings, shops and several types of merchants down there. There were several openinings with wooden doors and jewels everywhere. Your guest room is number 4. He said as he pointed to the door with the number four. Feel free to roam around as much as you wish. As he said this he waved at her and continued moving around, heading to the room of general defense. he wanted to listen the latest news. Lord Kiba, said one of his generals. We got some new information. It seems the vampires are not training their army to attack here. It seems they are waging war against the spirit kingdom. But there is a threat coming towards us.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I see you have been training. Cornelia said as she shot the fireball. The pillar of light turn a slight shade of red within the dim purple. The first lycan went flying backwards and hit a tree. He lost consciousness. The other two lycans attacked her simultaneously and she blocked both attacks. She began to spin her spear and struck one of the lycans, creating an opening, but she missed it, due to dodging an other attack. The lycans attacked her from bot sides, so she stopped one attack with her spear and the other one with a small dagger she took out from her leg holster. As she blocked both attacks, she did a small spin and slashed both lycans slightly. They fell down and she strapped her weapons again. You lose. In war, lost means death. She said seriously as she turned away from them. Yes mam. Answered a lycan. Train more. And More. And More. As she said this, she spread her wings opened and flew up into the sky. She stared down to see if there were people around wolf mountain. Her sillhoutte was that of a big bird or a woman with wings. She could see a unicorn near the lake and several humans climbing up the mountain. As the battle was coming to an end, the pillar of purple light came to a vivid color and remained there as an after image.

It was the time. He had traveled from the far west to reach the Alp Mountain range. He had crossed the great water, something that was only done by the most desperate of fools. As he reached the port, he then kept east. All that was on his mind was the thought of this location, this mountain, this "Wolf Mountain". He had heard the same story over and over again about other places, but this time felt different. When they talk about Wolf Mountain, there is just something about the way they spoke of it that just makes if seem different. Maybe he was just beginning to see hope in anything, but it's not like it mattered much - he needed to do whatever it took to find what he was searching for.

Finally, he reached the base of the mountain range with the crew he had hired. However, he saw the looks in their eyes, he saw how they reacted to the name of the mountain, and he certainly heard the fear in their voices. They were beyond frighten of the mysterious Wolf Mountain. He knew it was only a matter of time before they reached a point where they would turn around, but it was to be expected. They do say something about fools are the only humans who dare to climb the Wolf's Mountain. So, soon enough he will have to play the part of the fool.

He was actually surprised at how early they left him. They hadn't even reach the base of Wolf Mountain, they were on a mountain path in between the mountains across from Wolf Mountain - They couldn't even see Wolf Mountain yet. But, they would go no further, so he paid them their sum, got the direction to move forward in, and continued onward. It had been awhile since he had been on a trail that he knew nothing about it. Not to mention it had been awhile since he had even been on snowy terrain. Take that and the mystery of this mountain, and things quickly stacked against his favor. But, it does one no good to think of the odds when they have no choice in the situation, or thats what he was told anyway.

It took a few hours, but he had finally gone to the other side of the mountain, to reach the other side of the Alps Mountain range and see the legendary mountain known as Wolf Mountain. But the journey had taken its toll on him. He was in no condition to move forward to get to the base of Wolf Mountain, so he will have to make camp for the night. Tomorrow, he will make his way down this mountain, then to begin the journey up the Wolf Mountain.

“I’m not sure but I think I’ve seen a few that way.” Lara pointed in some direction and started to pack again. Violet silently helped her. “Let’s get more of those apples before it’s t—…what is that?” Lara asked her. Violet turned around and stared in awe at the light. She had no idea what it was that caused it, but she did feel attracted to it. She did grab her sister and prevented her from going there by just looking at her. It was something unknown and unknown things could be dangerous. When she was sure her sister won't turn and go in the direction of the light again, she let her go to speak. "Let's go another way, away from the weird light." Suddenly the light changed colour and a shiloutte was visible. It kind of looked like an angel to her so she stood there frozen looking at it. "An angel?", she asked meekly to her sister, her hands barely moving. Her sister was staring at the shiloutte aswell, so she missed her question. She gave a short whistle to get her attention again. "An angel? Does it look like an angel to you too? Just where did we end up?"

She followed Kiba.

Sathre let her feet carry her across the entrance. And She gasped, while looking around.
So many alive creatures where moving around. Hurrying, selling, buying. It was so different from the dark, atmosphere of hell.
Without screaming of other demons,or a pure silence, that could rip your sanity apart.

Sathre touched one of the jewels as they walked by. She stoped at one of them.
And was in the deep process of observing jewels, while Kiba was telling her about what she can do here.

As Kiba pointed to the room number 4 and waved ,Sathre bowed her head in a small bow. And followed him with her gaze, while he was walking away from her.
After she couldn't see him any more. She touched the wooden doors of the room num. 4 and grinned.

The door was unlocked.Sathre slowly pressed the handle and opened the room. The room was medium sized. Almost lightless.
But there where, yellow crystals on two of the walls, glowing,a soft, gentle light.

The walls where springtime green with a border of blue along the top and bottom.
The scent of leaves and nature still could be faintly detected. By Sathre's nose.

There was a bed. A desk by the wall. And an empty closet on her left.

Sathre entered the room. Closed the doors and threw herself on the bed.
She rolled on it and then felt a bit of uncomfortable tingling.By her weapons,on the belt.

Sathre unbuttoned her belt, took them, and laid em on her right side.

Then she closed her eyes and looked/felt for the bond with her familiar.
It was still strong. Stigma stayed outside of the entrance.
The lycan's scent was far more interesting for him. Then an underground city.

"Go see the area..check it out. I need to know everything about what is around us.
Where we can escape if my father comes. I need to know how many creatures is between me and freedom.. Stigma.."
Sathre commanded him through their bond.

The collar on Stigma shined. It was a response on her command.

Stigma happily growled and started to run through the camps and forest.
And Sathre fell into a deep sleep.

"Ayame! Ethan! Let's go! I swear you guys are so slow sometimes!" Lacy called, a bit exasperated, but at the same time barely able to conceal her excitement, jumping up and down.

"Oh shut up Lacy. We going as fast as possible, we don't all have the ability to float up the mountain," retorted Ethan. He was about to say something else, but stopped short, his gaze was frozen, looking up at something. Then, a sudden flash of bright light appeared in the distance, an odd colored light that was strangely beautiful but at the same time intimidating. "What was that?" Ayame breathed. The light changed color and a silhouette of a person with wings was visible. This seemed to bring Ethan back to reality, "Whatever it is, it probably isn't anything good. So let's just keep going, and ignore it." Lacy was about to retort, but the tone in Ethan's voice made her think better of it. "Ah, ok," she drawled out slowly. "Well come on then, we need to get up that mountain before sunset! Because that's when it looks the prettiest up there!" Lacy continued in fake cheerfulness that was ruined by the strained urgency in her voice.

They continued up the way they were going, but this time Lacy didn't run up ahead as she did before. She stayed behind with Ethan, both in a deep conversation about the flash of light from before. They occasionally stopped and waited for Ayame to catch up and take a break. Ayame had long since given up trying to figure out what Lacy and Ethan were talking about. It was just a waste of her energy. Besides the scenery around her was just too beautiful to bother with anything else.

Cornelia glanced around her and smiled as she saw the people lurking around Wolf Mountain. The light was become dimmer, yet the after image was still there. The Lance of Longinus had long disappeared. She flew around the place and could see around the mountain. She even backed down to the trail between the mountains from the Alp range. She noticed a person that was setting up camp and she smiled. She flew down and when he was not noticing, she left some apples and a blanket that she was carrying in her pouch to him. She then flew back towards the summit of the mountain. Around the summit, you could see thousands of soldiers training, in their camp playing, resting or chatting. Inside the mountain, al sorts of creatures were having their every day life, while the Lycan guards moved around and kept peace. The Shamans were working in the library trying to forge a perfect anti-magical barrier

Walking down the path towards the pillar of purple light, David noticed it suddenly gain a reddish tint. Reddish-purple light was cast onto the surroundings. David walked around a cluster of trees which obscured the base of the pillar of light. Now he realized that the pillar of light emanated from somewhere close to the summit of Wolf Mountain, or perhaps the summit itself. Wiping sweat from his brow, he estimated that it would take quite a few hours of walking to get there. Suddenly, he felt his foot hit something. Looking down, he noticed that he had hit a small branch on the ground. Beside it, he noticed a rather fresh footprint in the slightly muddy ground.

"Looks like they came this way," he remarked, and continued walking down the path. Suddenly, he noticed a silhouette in front of the pillar of light, a visible black speck on the column of reddish-purple light. It seemed like a huge bird, but as David looked more intently he could make out the outline of a head with long flowing hair. What is that? He wondered. I've never seen anything like it before.

The figure stayed in the air just long enough for David to ascertain that it was certainly not just a large bird, then it flew downwards, disappearing behind the trees around the summit of Wolf Mountain. He had heard stories about how there were mythical creatures here, but in the ten years he had spent here, he hadn't seen any. However, he sensed their presence at times, be it an unusual print on the ground, or the alien howl of a creature. He watched as the pillar of light faded away, leaving an afterimage. David realized that it was dark now, and that the pillar of light had been so bright that now the sky seemed dim in comparison.

He had been looking up at the afterimage for awhile while he walked, and when he looked back down at the path, an unexpected sight met his eyes. Two figures stood in the far distance, perhaps three hundred metres ahead of him on the straight path which was slowly inclining upwards towards the summit. He couldn't fully distinguish their details, but they seemed to be looking up at the afterimage as well. Were they the two youths who had robbed his cabin?

Violet had troubles trying to keep her sister away from the weird place that just had emitted light in a strange colour. Now that an Angel-like figure appeared it was even harder. She could almost read her sisters mind thinkig: 'But it's an angel, angels are good right?' Violet still didnt trust it. It might aswell be a devil in disguise and she was NOT letting her sister get into danger. She started to believe they should go somewhere else. This mountain didn't seem to be a normal mountain to her. "We should go back. It's not save here." Her sister didnt see her talk. This was once again a moment she wished she could speak out loud.

Her sister was still staring at the place the angel-like figure was when she got the weird feeling that something was watching them. She turned around taking a defensive stance around her sister. She quickly took out the kitchenknife she had found and observed her surrounding. As she couldnt see anything immediately she poked her sister for attention.
"I feel something is watching us. Let's go into a tree or something. You first."

David started walking towards the pair. He noticed that one of them was looking around, yet he knew the person couldn't see him as there were some low branches obscuring the view. As he got closer and closer, he realized that they were girls, probably in their mid-teens, both wearing exquisite dresses.

"Dresses? On a mountain?" He mused. He was now about a hundred metres away, keeping to the right side of the path, slightly obscured by bushes. The girl he had seen looking around before suddenly turned around to face his general direction. She seemed not to notice him. He walked slowly closer and closer, and he called out, "Hello? Who are you two?"

The girl suddenly took out a knife. David stopped, startled. The knife was David's knife. So, they're the ones, he thought. He instinctively put a hand on the hunting rifle strapped to his back, but it occured to him that he probably should negotiate instead. After all, he didn't want to start a fight or injure anyone. The girl gestured animatedly to the other girl, who seemed younger than her. David walked even closer. "Hello?" he called out, clearer this time, hoping to get her attention. "Who are you two? What are you doing here?"

Lara was still staring towards the purple light. It was magnetizing, she couldn’t keep her eyes of it. Not that she ever wanted to stop looking at it. She merely noticed her sister grabbing her and stopping her from moving towards it. She hadn’t even noticed that she was in fact walking towards it. Lara didn’t pay attention to her sisters gestures, she could tell that Violet was trying to communicate with her but she just couldn’t get it within herself to stop looking towards the light. There was now a silhouette visible. "An angel?", Her sister asked her. She finally got the strength to take her eyes of the light and answer her sister. “Yes.. An angel. We need to go there” She said her voice desperate with urgency she couldn’t comprehend. “I don’t know why but we need to go there , sis” She pleaded.

Lara’s attentions were finally drawn back to her sister when she saw that Violet took out the knife. “What are you doing” She signed to her sister. There was no threat, was there? She observed her surroundings but didn’t see anything amiss. It looked the same as it had when they got here. When her sister finally replied that she felt someone was watching them she looked perplexed. “Are you sure” She signed again trying to say quiet. She nodded to her sister and silently jogged towards the first tree she could climb in.

Lara could hear her heart pounding against her ears. She heard the rustling now too. Then out of the darkness of the forest came a man large men, with long blond hair and a beard. She was shaking by now and couldn’t form words. She knew she had to answer, her sister couldn’t and they were found out. She licked her lips and answered “Hello Mister.. We are here to …Camp” She ended softly knowing she sounded ridiculous even to her own ears. She just hoped he would leave them alone.

She was still remotely calm, given the circumstances, until she saw that the man had a gun behind his back. Oh no no no no no no no no no no no no ! He is going to kill us. Her eyes started to water and her breathing hitched. She didn’t know if her sister saw it too but hoped she did. “We need to run” She signed to her sister hoping the man didn’t notice it.

The younger girl seemed to notice him first. She seemed nervous. As David approached, she greeted uneasily, "Hello, mister... We are here to... camp."

"Camping, huh?" David remarked, noting the obvious lie. "Then why don't you tell me why your pal here has my knife!" As he said it, David turned towards the older girl. Suddenly, he saw the younger girl's eyes widen. She stared at something on his back, and David knew it was his hunting rifle. She began shaking uncontrollably, and after a while she turned to her sister and frantically gestured. David understood her fear. He took a step back and raised his hands to show that they were empty.

"Look, girl," he said. "I'm not going to shoot you or anything. Just tell me, who are you two and why did you rob my cabin?" His tone wasn't one of anger, but of kind concern. He knew better than to get angry at two girls who probably needed the stuff more than he did.

Looking at the older girl who had remained silent all this while, watching him tensely, he asked, "And why isn't she saying anything?"

Sathre's little familiar Stigma was jumping through forest grounds.Running between trees and bushes. Sticking his nose in everything of interest to him.
Sensing. Sightseeing. Getting to know all the forest roads that led from the mountains.

All of a sudden. There was the sound of The Human speech. Female. He listened. And another... voice.
Sigma rushed. Following the voices he heard.
Running quietly and quickly. Cautiously, as one with the wind.

When he got close enough. He noticed the two girls. And a man.
Stigma was surprised and turned his head with a sudden movement.

"weep ...weep" He greeted the strangers.

His big eyes looked at the girls, then a man. And sparkled.
He went closer to the girls. And made a purring sound. He shaked his head and did a worryed question sound "weeeep?
While still looking at the man and his rifle. He waited for his reply.

"Because she's mute, you dumbass!" a voice, high and inhumanly grainy, as if his throat decayed, yelled out. If the three were to look around, they would see nothing. The voice seemed come from all directions. "Why do you think they use sign language? For fun?" That voice then said. It sounded close, but could be seen, Almost as if this voice was a ghost.

A teen looked down at Ayame from the trees, looked around her as if he could see the ghost. Now how to greet her so that she doesn't try to attack him. "Hey, awfully fast travelling tourists, or are you guests heading for your place to stay?" He loudly asked her. If she turned around, she would see teen, his spiky hair looking like a golden sun. His carefree look in his sky blue eyes looking down on her. One thing is that "Tourist" and "Guest" were plural. Does that mean...

From out of the shadows of a tree by the man's camp, comes Kiba's look-a-like. He appeared shortly after Cornelia made her retreat back toward the mountain. His single staring towards her and the light on the summit. "...Asgard." He silently muttered in disgust, if they're involved, then things just got harder. He walked the path to the mountain, stopping right in the middle of a camp that this man set-up, must be for preparations to climb this mystic mountain in front of him. His hair was black, short, and ruly with a bowl formation. His single was a circular gradient of black and white while the other appeared to be underneath a wireless eye patch. He looked healthy, but his was extremely pale and it was black around the eye, suggesting that he's ill. Below his nose was multiple belts of black leather covering his upper jaw down to his lower neck. The rest of his body was covered in a black cloak.

It was quiet obvious the big man didn’t believe her lie. She was never a good liar in any case. Lara looked sideways trying to come with something better and plausible. Gotten lost? Hmm, no he might try to take us back.. if he doesn’t kill us that is. She was trying to come up with something new until she went into a another shocked frenzy when the man asked them “Then why don’t you tell me why your pal here has my knife?”

Okay this was it. The end. The man before them was the owner of the house they robbed and now he was here to take revenge on them. Lara didn’t know what to do, her lower lip started to tremble and her eyes stung with unshed tears. They had just gotten their freedom, only to be taken from them permanently so soon.

The big man held up his hands and said “Look, girl I’m not going to shoot you or anything. Just tell me, who are you two and why did you rob my cabin?” He sounded genuine, but Lara knew that people could lie, she had after all firsthand experience. Living in foster care for two years.

Lara decided then and there that she might as well tell the truth, not the whole truth but she could tell him something remotely close. “My name is Lara and this is my sister Violet” She started in a soft shaky voice. She gulped and continued “We ….. wanted to start anew at mountain wolf” She paused and looked him up to appease his reaction. “My sister and I didn’t have anything on us when we came here. I swear we didn’t know it was yours.. we didn’t mean any ha---“

What in the name of God… is that thing. Lara’s eyes widened immensely and she gasped out loud. She couldn’t even finish her sentence. There in between them was a creature as she never had seen. It looked a bit cat like, but it was obvious that it was no cat or anything remotely familiar to her. “What is that?” She asked her sister. The creature walked over to the girls and started purring and making a strange noise. As perplexing as it was , Lara was not afraid of the thing. She found him … Cute .

"Because she's mute, you dumbass!" Suddenly a new voice boomed through the forest "Why do you think they use sign language? For fun?"
Lara looked around her trying to detect where the noise was coming from but she couldnt see anything through the thick forest. Her fear was awakened again and she whimpered softly.

((OOC: LOL 14 year olds get distracted quickly? xD ))

"My name is Lara and this is my sister Violet," the younger girl started apprehensively. "We... wanted to start afresh at Wolf Mountain. My sister and I didn't have anything on us when we came here. I swear, we didn't know it was yours..."

She sounded genuine. "There, that wasn't so hard, wasn't it?" he reassured her, grinning. "And, about your sister. Why is she so quiet?" he repeated his earlier question.

"Because she's mute, you dumbass!"
a voice called out. "Why do you think they use sign language? For fun?" It was high-pitched and rather hoarse, and it seemed to come from everywhere at once. An unusual voice by any standards.

David's looked around wildly to see where the voice came from. He couldn't see anything in the forest. "We didn't mean any harm-" the younger girl, Lara, continued, and suddenly she gasped. David turned back and saw an odd creature crawl out of the bushes. It had striking sapphire eyes, and odd white marks on its face. A red crystal hung from its neck, contrasting with its sleek black fur. There was a star-shaped mark on its chest, and another at the end of its tail, which was oddly shaped. David noted that it seemed like a demon's tail.

"Weep... weep," it said, the same sound David had heard just now. It looked at the two girls, then at David, eyes sparkling. Suddenly, it took a step forward towards the girls, purring as it went. Instinctively David grabbed his hunting rifle from his back and stood between the girls and the creature. The creature didn't seem dangerous, but who knew? Holding his rifle at the ready, David glared at the creature. Whatever it was, it had better not try and hurt anyone. The creature shook its head. "Weeeep?" it called out questioningly. Looking at it and how it acted and reacted, David began to think that perhaps this creature had a level of sentience.

"What are you?" he asked. "What are you doing here?"

(OOC: Oh dear, I've got to string together the events again. I think my arrangement is probably the most cohesive, so we'll go along with that if you folks don't mind.)

Violet hated how she had to let her little sister speak with the stranger that had suddenly appeared. She could feel in every part of her body how scared her little sister was. She kept close to her touching her arm quietly not letting go of the knife. She didn't entrust anyone with her little sister. The man asked her questions and she could feel her panic as she felt it herself. During the questioning she just kept her gaze at the man and the knife in her hand. If he made one wrong movement she'd do what Lara had done for her before. JUmp in and stab. But as the conversation went on he didn't seem to have the will to attack them

She started to wonder who he was, if he was someone from the mental institute or even one of Lara's fosterparents. She shook away the last thought, this man was obviously also unknown to Lara and he claimed to own the very knife in her hand. That would mean he was the owner of the house even though he didnt seek revenge for them stealing from them. She couldnt let her guard down though, he still was an adult, and adult have never proofed to be trustwothy. She locked away the memories of her dad as she saw the same look on his face their dad used to have. Her dad died and left her and her mother and sister all alone. Her mother had no smart mind for ever marrying the stepfather and the stepfather was a cruel man. No, even though she loved her parents, even they had proven to be untrustworthy. It was her sister and her agaisnt the world.

The man asked about her being quiet and her sister tried to evade the question when all of a sudden the answer sounded loudly. There was nobody around though. Violet moved a bit closer to her sister making more parts of their bodies touch as to let their energies flow to eachother to calm eachother down. It always calmed Violet down to be close to her sister, she wasn't sure about Lara, but she felt more at ease aswell. She was really bothered that someone seemed to know all about her, while they knew nothing about the place they ended up; just the name.

Out of nowhere a weird cute little creature appeared. She was happy about it because she felt the tension of her little sister drop, but worried because she had no idea what it was and whether it was good or not that Lara had dropped her attention seeing it. She whistled as a warning not to move towards it and to keep her defenses up. The man started to stand between them as if to protect them from the creature aswell. If he really lived in that cabin he might know more about what's save and what isn't.

(OOC how the peep does he know she's mute? People talk using there hands more often you know :/ Not all people immediately see its signlanguage >.> you know most mute people still try to move their mouths to make the sound especiially if they were able to talk before... like my chara. And my gawd D: I really seem to be here when nobody else is D: )

How could you let this happen? Why wasn't I informed before? Kiba said growling at one of the generals. I am sorry sir, but we had just received this news. We also had just received the sudden movement of the Moon Goddess's army. It seems that she is the one declaring us the war. The moon Goddess?! Damn Kiba's fist pounded on the table as he began to walk in circles in the room. Double up the training. Cornelia had reached the summit of the mountain in no time and entered the prefacture. She walked around the place and entered the General Defense Conference room. What is happening? It seems that Artemis had just declared us the war. Do you know what that means? Artemis?! That is insane?! We had good relations. She got a powerful army. What should I do, my Lord. You should double up the training. And look for the owners of the seven shards that we have collected. Will do, sir. Also, visit the guest. Now leave. As he said this, Cornelia and Kiba exitted the room. Kiba was heading back to the merchant's area and Cornelia knocked on the door on room 4.

Sigma waved his tail like a dog.
The big human took out his rifle and was holding it. It made the familiar curious. So Sigma took a few steps even closer,to them. And made a sound of a singing bird.
Then noded his black head.

And then there was the voice,he didn't hear before. "Because she's mute, you dumbass! "Why do you think they use sign language? For fun?"
Sigma quickly turned around and looked at the trees. Then he looked around as his eyes glowed.
But he couldn't see anything. He only sensed a quick powerfull presence.

"I found humans.Mistress.And something more. Powerfull is hiding around."
Sigma sent a mental image of the humans. To Sathre.
The images entered her dream. And she saw what he saw.

Sathre woke up. The images still in her head.
She shivered a bit. The unpleasant feeling of someone in her head was always too much for her.
When she calmed herself a bit. She sat down on the bed, closed her eyes and tried to concentrate on Stigma.
"Show them the way little one." Sathre responded with a gentle thought to him.

Then Sigma turned around and faced the big male human again.
He mewed and purred. In hope the big guy will understand he is not a threat to him.

"What are you?" The human asked.
"What are you doing here?"

Sigma turned his head to the left a bit.
And then he shook his head a few times to make the collar ringing with a sound.
Then he pointed at the girls and got up. Weep..weep...wep....

He went to the place they first saw him. And turned to wait for them.

Sathre was still thinking about what Sigma sent her when there was a knock on the doors.
She jumped. It took her a few moments to relize there is no need for panic.
She put her belt back on. And with a calm voice she said : "Enter freely. I am here".
Sathre turned to the doors. To face a person on the other side of them.

He was up before the sun. 'Had to get moving early, a lot of ground to cover' he thought to himself. 'Funny, how the long journeys make you miss the little things. Lord knows what I would trade for a shower right now. But there wasn't time to look for springs in this winter-plagued mountain range.' He continued down the endless path to the base of the mountain, looking up to attempt to see the mountain peak as he got closer, but no upper part (of the mountain) was visible from the ground path.

One of the things he noticed, as he got closer to the mountain, was the usual lack of animals compared to the other mountains. There were some going about, but it was a huge difference from the other mountain he had passed through. 'Was there something eerie about the mountain that kept away?' Sure, one would expect such a mysterious and magical place to have adverse effects on the environment, but actually those rumors are false. Ironically enough, those types of places can attract wildlife to them. However, this place seemed to drive them away... It was something he had never experienced before. All he could think to himself was 'What the hell is this place...'

Eventually, he reached the base of Wolf Mountain. He could see footprints, slightly fresh, maybe a day or two old. At least he wasn't the only new person to come to this mountain, though he still had no idea how they were with outsiders. Not like it mattered much anyway, he had to try. The path up the mountain was just as unforgiven as the other mountain paths, though it carried an eerie feeling with it. It was hard to put the feeling in words, but it was there. He now understood why the animals avoided this area, anything without magical properties or some built-up resistance would not want to stay in this area. Humans could try to ignore the feeling and press onward, but (regular) animal's natural reaction would just be to leave. And honestly, he couldn't blame them.

As time went on, he slowly made his way up the trail, each turn and twist around the mountain's edge made it seem more and more endless. Eventually, he would reach a settlement...
