Log Cabin #1
The first cabin I built, right beside some epic floating islands. My spawn point is a few blocks in front of the house.

Yeah, that place in the distance shaded by the floating islands are full of monsters, so they come crowd around my house at night. Luckily I made an underground cactus fence, so once they fall in they get poked until they die. No items though, since the cactus destroys them .___.

Log Cabin #2
So I made a mine right behind my first log cabin, which is basically me digging a large passage diagonally down until bedrock, then extending shafts on either side every six or so blocks and the extending subshafts front and back (which allows me to see every single block. When I hit bedrock, I made a small room where I could smelt and store ores, then I decided to tunnel directly upwards to see where I appeared. So I did, and I made a log cabin there.

I haven't built a fence for it, though, so monsters always surround it and I have to flee via the mine shaft ;___;

Log Cabin #3
I built this one because I wanted to build a house above the cloud layer, just to see the scenery. So I found this tall mountain not far from my 2nd cabin (which isn't far from my first one 
), and built this on a cliff.

Balcony! It's accessible from the first floor, and there's a second smaller balcony from the second floor!

I intend to connect this house to the large floating island next to my first cabin (which is in the distance in the middle) with a sky bridge, which is why I left that double doorway there.
