Did you also go by the username of "Ouji" for a while as well? Or maybe not...

I'm pretty sure I played a couple AGs with you, particularly Foreverava's Resident Evil AG comes to my immediate recollection. Cause if I remember correctly, you did a good job of being Albert Wesker.

Yup I am Ouji and yeah ive played RE AG as Albert Wesker I really had fun playing my role back then. =]
Rineru And I remember you told Phyre to attack me =_= it made Albert Wesker more vulnerable, but you've played the game well so it's cool.
@Sanae You remember me now? *smiles*

@Aidan Story time~

What inspired the creation of AE.. What was going through your mind when brainstorming AE? Ooh, and what inspired the name ^__^?

I've always wondered that, but never did ask :smart:
@Sanae Better late than never, yeah?

Straight from my staff profile on aE(thank you Way-Back Machine).
As one of the Founders of animeEDEN, I've been around since the beginning. Which was back in December of 2004. animeEDEN was thought up of when I was a reviewer at DBGT.com and I made friends with another reviewer there who went by the alias of 'Spike'. We felt at the time that DBGT wasn't really a great place to display our reviews since it was mostly know for it's massive media database. So we decided hey why not make a spin-off site that can be dedicated to displaying our reviews? So we thought up of a names and we agreed upon the name of 'Anime-Eden'. My sister bought the domain anime-eden.com in December as a christmas present.

After that and a couple of hosting switches animeEDEN was up and running as a anime/manga review site that also had some other cool features. We were really doing good for a while but soon we just weren't getting enough visitors which really made me lose interest in just doing reviews. So I decided upon introducing media to the site. Such as having episodes and manga. Spike (known as Zero when animeEDEN was running) resigned as my partner webmaster because he didn't agree that animeEDEN should have media.

So I had to move on without him. I had great support from forum members that I befriended at the DBGT Forums one notable person is 'hooloovoo' who now even works at animeEDEN as a Super Moderator. If it really wasn't for him and J'AIme, animeEDEN would've never gotten our first media database up which consisted of medium quality RMVB files. animeEDEN reached immediate success gaining reasonable traffic and fan support.

However, the media was deleted by the host at the time and after that we'd not have media for months. animeEDEN began a sharp decline from then on and so I decided to temporarily close animeEDEN (which was around January of 2006) until I'd be able to dedicate more time. In early June of 2006 I reopened animeEDEN which you are all familiar with today. Sorry for such a long history lesson.
I think we landed on the name of Anime Eden because it was something that was catchy and easy to remember. Plus it was very marketable name.

Sanae yep, since 2004. The Way Back Machine actually has 2 snapshots from December 2004. Unfortunately, the images that go with the layout are no longer visible so you can't see the original main banner for the site which was just totally awesome. xD

Hello fellow Scott. We've now got ourselves a reunion within a reunion. A Scott reunion. Good to see you Mobi.

Later I sold it to Jacky for almost no money and he created the NOEZ empire we all </3
