Not at the time, afterwards I saw a comparison of a SSD and a hard drive.The HDD didn't even survive 400hz! How am I supposed to operate my computer during a car crash with that kind of weakness?

A hard drive cannot work in a car crash, a solid state drive can work whilst the car is shaking around.

Maybe you have a crappy taxi cab driver and you are working on a business report and you need to save your word document before going to the hospital?

It was kind of serious... business matters are very important and they may want to keep the data whilst keeping it secret. The added resistance that the solid state drive has when compared to the standard hard drive makes it an asset. Too bad it is expensive as hell.

Yeah, true, I guess. I just find it a bit peculiar to prioritise hitting the save button instead of grabbing hold of something or protecting your head.

Who knows? Maybe he is a worker on designing a safer nuclear reactor, then the schematics would be more important than saving yourself from a few more minor injuries.
